Catalina Island is greatly known for its terrifically yielding waters year round. When fishing around Catalina Island you can look forward to catching exceptionally sized White Sea bass, Yellowtail, Calico Bass, Sheepshead, Halibut and Rockfish and many other varieties of game fish that can tip the scale at over 40 pounds. March through July are the best time to fish Catalina for White Sea Bass although the island offers an assortment of delicious fish to catch through out the seasons.
On our overnight Catalina trips, you can expect to arrive at the island in the middle of the night, where you will begin to fish for white seabass while floating squid to fill the bait tanks. From there you can spend the day chasing calico bass, tasty rockcod, monster Catalina homeguard yellowtail and other species that make Catalina truly one of the best places to fish along the coast.
